Preface
It’s over two years since we celebrated the 150 years anniversary of St Bede’s Church in Carlisle, and the booklet written by the late Richard Holloway in 1986 ’Story of a Parish’ was updated to mark the occasion.
It’s amazing to read the changes that have occurred during the past two years since the booklet was updated. Many thanks to Tina Battle and Lucy Carswell for recording the changes up to 2018.
